The Magnolia Experience

Here at Magnolia Restorative Care and Wellness we seek to ensure that you are a participant in your journey towards health and wellness. We understand that you are all individuals and that no two patients will experience this life the same way. This also is true regarding healthcare. We believe that care should always be individualized with a goal of not only treating the symptoms, but also seeking the root causes of the symptoms in hopes of preventing them in the future.

Magnolia Restorative Care and Wellness takes pride in focusing on the whole person- mind, body, and spirit because no area functions without affecting the other. Contrary to the current style of healthcare available, Magnolia vows to ensure that our patients never feel limited in treatment choices, have their symptoms and feelings dismissed, or be treated like another transaction.

Vision

Providing unbiased, holistic care that prioritizes the patient-provider relationship and promotes the active participation of patients in their health journey one patient at a time.

Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Jaylin has always had a passion for holistic healthcare and healing. Although from Jackson, MS, Jaylin received her undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from Southern University and A & M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Later she obtained the terminal nursing degree of Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Loyola University in New Orleans, LA.

After years of working in emergency nursing and seeing the revolving door of patients coming back time and time again with chronic illnesses, Jaylin began to find passion in preventative care. She migrated on a lifelong journey of health and wellness when she started to seek and manage the root causes of her own health complaints rather than medicate symptoms alone. She then found a passion for fitness/weight training, nutrition, and self-love. By doing this she lost 80lbs and prevented chronic illness naturally.

She seeks to provide an individualized-root cause approach to care by using her Western and Conventional Medicine education and training along with her knowledge of the benefits of nutrition, physical training/exercise, herbal medicine, advanced laboratory testing, and mindfulness therapies. She takes pride in acknowledging our patient’s uniqueness and believes that optimum health and longevity should be obtainable and achievable with holistic care.
